The Mojo Rhodes Band is comprised of six accomplished musicians from six different bands, brought together to form one of the Northeast’s premier special events bands. Our music will bridge generations and bring people together while delivering an exciting mix of hits from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and beyond—keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long.

John A. Morabito Sr. – Rhythm Guitar & Vocals

Mojo-Rhodes is the brainchild of John A. Morabito Sr., whose passion for music and extensive knowledge of the industry serve as the driving force behind the band’s vision and sound. An accomplished guitarist and vocalist, John brings a refined touch to every performance. Whether performing solo or with the full band, his tasteful guitar work and smooth, melodic voice create an atmosphere that sets the perfect mood for any occasion.**

David (Flash) Dawson - Lead Guitar and Vocals

David brings decades of guitar experience and a lifelong passion for classic rock and blues to the Mojo Rhodes Band. Influenced by legendary guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Michael Schenker, he combines expressive playing, vintage tone, and melodic solos with solid rhythm work. Understanding that great guitar playing is about serving the song, David brings energy, precision, and excitement to every Mojo Rhodes Band performance.

Donald (Donnie Nortz) Norton- Lead Vocalist

Born and raised in Boston, Donnie is no stranger to the music industry. With more than 30 years of performing throughout the Northeast, he has built a reputation as a dynamic vocalist and true entertainer. Bringing unmatched energy, charisma, and commanding stage presence to every performance, the Mojo Rhodes Band is proud to have Donnie as its new frontman and the face of the band.

Dan (Boom Boom) Fiore: Percussion & Vocals

There is no doubt that Dan has a great passion for playing the instrument he loves. He brings the dedication and love to the art of music every time he sits behind his drum set. Dan has been playing in bands most of his life and Mojo-Rhodes is honored that one the leading drummers in the area has joined us on this journey.

Craig (Mojo)Merriman: Bass Guitar

We are proud to welcome Craig to the Mojo Rhodes Band (M.R.B.) family. With more than 40 years in the music industry, Craig brings a wealth of experience, exceptional musicianship, and a rock-solid groove that make him an invaluable part of the band.

A founding member of the popular band (Project,) Craig has entertained audiences throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, earning a reputation as a dependable, talented, and versatile musician.

Candace Fernandez: Vocals and Percussion

Candace has been singing in Bands and solo events for 20 years and is a true professional. She will be sharing her talent by joining us for our wedding and special event performances. With perfect tone and phrasing she will keep your attention from the first note to the last.
